You absolutely have to insure that the content is good. If you have good content, you will have traffic by default and adding it regularly (twice a day or more), you will get the SE’s to re-index your site many times over every day, which will establish you as an authoritative site in their eyes. Find software that will publish your content automatically or get a programmer to create you one. You can find both: writers and programmers on places like rent-a-coder.com and elance.com. One other smart way to find writers is to visit the places where they hang out online, such as forums, and pm them with an offer they cannot refuse. A program will cost you 300 USD and articles will cost you 10-15 USD. If you cannot afford to spend this kind of money at the start, then write the articles yourself. You have to be good though. I know people who are paying up to 200 USD per article to professional journalists and what happens then is it gets a word-of-mouse advertising and is making them 20-50 USD a day – and that’s just one article. Of course not all articles are so profitable.

But say you have a few that make you 2 dollars each. And over a course of a year, you wrote 200 that are making you 2 dollars. Well, that’s a residual income of 150 large. And that’s just from one year, after doing something you enjoyed. Do you see how *easy* (yes, here’s that word again) this was? How long will it take you a page rise of 150 thousand dollars at your job? And get at least an equivalent pay rise, if not more, every year? …Exactly. Also remember that by this time next year you will have more than enough money to hire writers and replicate your success in other fields/sites. You will have more free time then (though you’d probably spend it somewhere else on your business and have less of it, but you’ll also have more commodities of the modern world – YES, you will buy that Lamborghini you’ve always dreamed of, lol).

So, do me a favour and start your online AdSense business, starting from the day you read this post. The world will be yours, but only if you start working towards it. And every time you feel tired and discouraged and want to relax just because no one stands behind your back, just tell yourself this “if I will spend my time productively today, soon no one will ever be standing behind my back, and if I want to buy something, anything – I will be able to do it without checking my bank account balance”, and that’s what they call a smart work. It’s as *easy* as that. (Please, please don’t take this word literally – you have to keep at it).

So, back to our Google AdSense Secret – i.e. the concept of quality. The guy simply said something like “I am not afraid of any changes in the algorithms and I don’t even follow them or care. I just produce quality content that people are searching for and that I enjoy writing and them clicking on my ads is just a bonus.” His approach got me thinking. I mean I knew about the duplicate content filter of Google and knew that unique content gets the traffic but I never though about the quality if that content. All I wanted is for people to be entertained a little and they click on my ad, which is the end result. And that wasn’t the worst of approaches from all the people on the web, yet I make no money.

Of course, my efforts were not that great either, but, nether the less, I did spend months tweaking the site and link trading with all those reciprocal linking communities. What a waste of time! Reciprocal linking is dying and the introduction period to the web is over. The web is growing just like tv and radio was once, and it is much more powerful then those two put together and multiplied many times over. People has a choice of where to go on the web and most of the time they just want answers. Those who have the answers are those who will be at the top of future search results and that’s almost a fact if you look at the current trends.

So, here’s your easy plan of action:

1. You need to go to http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ and pick out the keywords that have a high-ish volume of searches.

2. You need to produce quality content on the topic that has high volume of searches and post it regularly on your site.

3. You need to have a linking strategy in place (though if you have quality content, don’t worry too much about linking strategy as SEs will pick up your content).

I was struggling to make money with Google AdSense for over a year. I’ve tried many things – adding content consistently for a few months, having a huge website of over 50+ thousand pages, AdSense arbitrage – you name it. I could not get it to work and couldn’t understand why. Then, just another rainy morning (I live in England), I read a few posts by someone who was claiming to have made millions in AdSense (I was lucky enough to hit on the post purely by accident), and he was discussing the trends and what he though the next big thing will be. He was revealing his “big Google AdSense secret”, that’s not a secret at all. It’s consistent quality. This is what will drive the future businesses forward.

In today’s internet, there is just too much useless information and useless sites that are obviously there with only one intention, which is to make money. They don’t care bout what the customers will think of them and they don’t give any though to how the web works, hence they don’t; have a clue about what they are doing and why they are not making money. And they don’t care. In today’s internet, for every one success there are 100 failures (this is a guess work by the way, but it cannot be far from the reality). A lot of those people are misinformed and think that it is easy – after reading all those sales letter that are written by people just like them, it’s totally understandable why it gets confusing. Many of them though are just lazy and don’t want to put the work that it takes to lift an income stream off the ground. It can be easy and was easier-ish a few years ago when the internet has just being evolving and there as less competition, but it got a little harder and you cannot lift a business off the ground with just a few hours a day working on it. It takes time and determination to succeed. For some people it takes 10+ years before they start making anything more than 20 000 grand a year, but because they are focused and love what they do, they eventually become millionaires.

It makes sense therefore to think about your personality and plan your strategy etc before you even start spending time doing anything online. You’ve got to tell yourself this: “I know having my own business will mean I will have to work harder than I ever worked – especially in my first year, and I am totally up to the challenge, because I know I will be rewarded in the end”. And you have to enjoy making decisions and not having anyone behind your back with a stick in order for you to do your work. And before you understand this, you will not be happy and you likeliness of success is pretty low.

Although Google is the famous advertising network, there are numerous other networks that are not as popular as Google yet are also big players. One of them is Yahoo. Yahoo is one of the oldest networks – they have ebing around for uears even before Google, and they also habe their advertising network called YPN or Yahoo Publisher Network.

It's know that the main difference between those is that Yahoo is more extensive for the advertiser ,due to luck of quality control, compared to Google, where smart marketers are rewarded more than those with deep pockets. It also gets less traffic on their search engines. Other biggies are MSN, Ask, Kanoodle. Those get even less traffic and their PPC navigation etc is not perfected as near as Google, hence their advertising is not very popular. They are worth considering but not worth spending much time at (some don't even have “Adsense”-like system at all).

This is the main issue with those smaller networks – they don't seem to want to have a PPC network as much as Google does – or maybe don't try had enough... Either way, Google is the best, as their main income comes from those networks and advertising. Generally, bigger companies tend to focus on Google while a lot of the smaller individuals try their luck with other PPC engines.

Yahoo also makes their money with other staff like selling advertising space on their site – like banners etc, because they get so much traffic, big companies are prepared to pay a lot of money for those. Yahoo is still the most visited site on the web, according to the statistics of Alexa at alexa.com. This means it is getting millions of visitors A DAY, which is a hell of a lot of traffic. It's all the very popular marketplaces in the world combined. Though, big chunk of their traffic is for their free e-mail and those people are not browsing around their site much, heading straight for the mail instead.

From the webmasters point of view though, YPN is definitely worth looking at and playing around with – some say they even pay more than Google. The cons are though that they don't have as many ads as Google does, hence Google's ads are more specific and they are more likely to provide the web master with a more relevant ad even for the most tightly-niched market, hence you should have a higher CTR. This is a question of testing tough, as everyones results will vary.

How do you maximize your site?

By earning some few dollars per click from displaying Adsense ads on it. Many are now realizing that good money is made from this source of revenue. Try the simple mathematical computation of multiplying those clicks for every page on your website and you get a summation of earnings equivalent to a monthly residual income with that little effort you have made.

Google Adsense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their website’s content pages and earn money in the process. The ads displayed are related to what your users are looking for on your site. This is the main reason why you both can monetize and enhance your content pages using Adsense.

How much you will be earning will depend on how much the advertisers are willing to pay. It will depend also on the keywords required. If the keywords the advertiser have chosen are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click.

How can you start making profits out of your website using Adsense?

1. Sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. When the site is accepted, you will be receiving a clip code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites that you want. The AdWords will start appearing immediately after.

3. You will be earning a few cents or some dollars per click when someone starts clicking on the AdWords displayed on any of your web pages. Trying to earn false revenues by repetitively clicking on your own ads is a no-no. This will result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being eliminated. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.

4. View your statistics. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your web site account.

Once you got your account working, you may still want to pattern them to the many sites that are earning more money than you are. It is important to note that there are factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.

It is a common practice that when a site earning money, the tendency is for the owner to want to make more out of what they are getting already. It usually takes some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense contents.

Time and some important factors that you can practice and use.

How do you increase your Adsense earnings?

1. Choose one topic per page. It is best to write a content for your page with just a few targeted phrases. The search engine will then serve ads that are more relevant which will then result in higher clickthoughs.

2. Using white space around your ad. This can make your ad stand out from the rest of your page so visitors can spot them easily. There are also other choices of colors you can use, provided by search engines, which can harmonize the color of your ad with the web page color.

3. Test your ad placement. It is recommended to use the vertical format that runs down the side of the web page to get more positive results. You can also try both horizontal and vertical formats for a certain period of time to see which one will give you better results.
4. More content-based pages. Widen the theme of your website by creating pages that focus more on your keyword phrases. This will optimize the pages for the search engines. It can not only attract traffic but also make them more relevant for the AdWords to be displayed.
5. Site Build It. This is the perfect tool to be used for creating lots of Adsense revenues. Site Build It has all the tools necessary to quickly achieve a keyword-rich site that can rank high in the search engines. This will also produce a flow of traffic to your site of highly targeted visitors.

A lot of people are lured by affiliate marketing because it can be financially rewarding, even if you just stay at home. Affiliate marketing programs are best alternatives to those who are sick and tired of their arduous daily work just to climb up the venerated corporate ladder. You don’t need products to sell, you just have to market them in your own web site and you don’t have to worry about processing the customers’ payments and the shipment of the products. If you are already into affiliate marketing, probably you were thinking about these benefits, too, before deciding to join an affiliate program.

Of course you want earn huge amount of commission. Who would not want it anyway? Keep in mind, however, that affiliate marketing cannot guarantee you instant success if you don’t work on it. There are a lot of ways of maximizing your income. The Internet is a huge library of information, use it to learn of other opportunities and ways to increase your income. You can partner with several merchandisers and promote different products in your website; thereby, increasing your chance to earn a commission.

The easiest way for you to rev up your revenue potential is by incorporating Google AdSense into your marketing campaigns. What is Google AdSense? What are its advantages? How can it boost my revenues? These are some of the questions you might want to ask. Let’s try to probe into Google AdSense, so you would know how it could help you in your affiliate marketing program.

Merchants place their ads in Google, which is one of the most popular search engines or tools for locating various resources in the World Wide Web. Now the Google AdSense program allows you to display these ads in you website and when your visitors click through them, you earn. The advertiser, which is the merchant pays Google for every click-through made by the customer and you as a partner of Google, gets a share from that payment.

What’s great about the Google AdSense is that the ads are relevant to the content of your web page. Most likely, visitors of your web site are interested on the theme of your site and specifically, on the content of your web page. So, seeing ads related to their interest would definitely drive them to click through the link or the ad. Using state-of-the-art technology, Google scans your web site and matches the content of your pages to their large database of advertisers; this way, Google is able to find ads that are targeted by the users of your site. In addition, Google changes the ads in your site as you change the content of your pages, so you can always expect the ads to be relevant to your site.

Having Google ads in your website is also a way of convincing your users to return to your site. Repeat customers multiply your income without having to exert extra effort to convince them again to click through your links. And your potential to earn doesn’t depend on them alone. Since you already have their confidence, they can be your endorsers as well. They could refer your site to family and friends who probably share the same interests with them.

Advertisers in the Google AdSense program range from large international brands to small-time domestic and local businesses, so the targeted market for the ads can range as well. This adds variety to your site; thereby, attracting different kinds of users. As you attract more users, you increase your earning potential as well. If you are targeting a specific nationality for your site users, don’t worry because AdSense can be used in different languages.

In order to boost your revenues through Google AdSense, you must pay attention to making web pages of high value topics. Make contents related to high-paying ads, so you can earn more. Some ads pay only a few cents while some ads pay you dollars just for a single click. You would need to do a little research on this so you can come up with a more relevant content. Join affiliate marketing forums and get tips from experienced affiliate marketers.

Becoming an AdSense affiliate marketer is easy and fast. You just have to apply online and once your application is approved, you can instantly set up Google ads in your site. All you need to do is copy and paste some codes in your web pages and in no time the ads will appear in your site.

Strike while the iron is hot! Take advantage of the favorable circumstances the Internet is offering you. Make the most of your affiliate marketing opportunities, use Google AdSense!

Google, being the undisputable leader in search engines from then until now, is placing a high importance on the quality and relevancy of its search engines. Most especially now that the company is public property. In order to keep the shareholders and users of its engines happy, the quality of the returned results are given extreme importance.

For this same reason, doing the wrong things in the Adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a severe penalty, may get you banned and even have your account terminated. Nothing like a good action taken to keep wrongdoers from doing the same things over again.

So for those who are thinking of getting a career in Adsense, do not just think of the strategies you will be using to generate more earnings. Consider some things first before you actually get involved.

Hidden texts. Filling your advertisement page with texts to small to read, has the same color as the background and using css for the sole purpose of loading them with rich keywords content and copy will earn you a penalty award that is given to those who are hiding links.

Page cloaking. There is a common practice of using browser or bot sniffers to serve the bots of a different page other than the page your visitors will see. Loading a page with a bot that a human user will never see is a definite no-no. This is tricking them to click on something that you want but they may not want to go to.

Multiple submissions. Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from. For example, trying to submit a URL of an Adsense as two separate URL’s is the same as inviting trouble and even termination. Likewise, this is a reason to avoid auto submitters for those who are receiving submissions. Better check first if your domain is submitted already an a certain search engine before you try to submit to it again. If you see it there, then move on. No point contemplating whether to try and submit there again.

Link farms. Be wary of who and what are you linking your Adsense to. The search engines know that you cannot control your links in. But you can certainly control what you link to. Link farming has always been a rotten apple in the eyes of search engines, especially Google. That is reason enough to try and avoid them. Having a link higher than 100 on a single page will classify you as a link farm so try and not to make them higher than that.

Page rank for sale. If you have been online for quite some time, you will notice that there are some sites selling their PR links or trading them with other sites. If you are doing this, expect a ban anytime in the future. It is okay to sell ads or gain the link. But doing it on direct advertisement of your page rank is a way to get on search engines bad side.

Doorways. This is similar to cloaking pages. The common practice of a page loaded with choice keyword ads aimed at redirecting visitors to another “user-friendly” page is a big issue among search engines. There are many seo firms offering this kind of services. Now that you know what they actually are, try to avoid them at all costs.

Multiple domains having the same content. In case you are not aware of it, search engines look at domains IP’s, registry dates and many others. Having multiple domains having the same exact content is not something you can hide from them. The same goes with content multiplied many times on separate pages, sub domains and forwarding multiple domains to the same content.

Many of the above techniques apply to most search engines and is not entirely for Google only. By having a mind set that you are building your Adsense together with your pages for the human users and not for bots, you can be assured of the great things for your ads and sites.

Not to mention avoiding the wrath of the search engines and getting your Adsense and site account terminated altogether.

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people’s services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.
The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem “useless”.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?

Why Affiliate Marketing?

Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.

Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.

There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.

Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

What about Google Adsense?

Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.

The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.

So, where do all of these lead us to?

Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.

Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it.

It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it.

Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.

How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?

Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free.

As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it.

Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.

Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for.

Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place.

If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds.

Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using “negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours. Adding tracking URLs to your links so you can track the traffic coming from Google.

Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.

If webmasters want to monetize their websites, the great way to do it is through Adsense. There are lots of webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from Adsense ads on their websites. What makes these webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.

The ones who have been there and done it have quite some useful tips to help those who would want to venture into this field. Some of these tips have boosted quite a lot of earnings in the past and is continuously doing so.

Here are some 5 proven ways on how best to improve your Adsense earnings.

1. Concentrating on one format of Adsense ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your Adsense but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the Adsense look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Remove the Adsense from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your Adsense. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between Adsense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Maintain links to relevant websites. If you think some sites are better off than the others, put your ads there and try to maintaining and managing them. If there is already lots of Adsense put into that certain site, put yours on top of all of them. That way visitor will see your ads first upon browsing into that site.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your Adsense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your Adsense code in a text file, save it as “adsense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then using SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other Adsense sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your Adsense something that people will definitely click on.

Tips given by those who have boosted their earnings are just guidelines they want to share with others. If they have somehow worked wonders to some, maybe it can work wonders for you too. Try them out into your ads and see the result it will bring.

If others have done it, there is nothing wrong trying it out for yourself.

To know why AdSense is essential for Your content sites is to know first how this works.

The concept is really simple, if You think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the AdSense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click.

The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the search engine pulls the AdSense ads. Also webmasters are less concerned by the lack of information search engines are providing and are more focused in making cash from these search engines.

The first reason why AdSense is essential for content sites is because it already has come a long way in understanding the needs of publishers and webmasters. Together with its continuous progression is the appearance of more advanced system that allows full ad customization. Webmasters are given the chance to choose from many different types of text ad formats to better complement their website and fit their webpage layout.

The different formatting enables the site owners the possibility of more click through from visitors who may or may not be aware of what they are clicking on. It can also appeal to the people visiting thus make them take that next step of looking up what it is all about. This way the people behind the AdSense will get their content read and making profit in the process.

The second reason is the ability of the AdSense publishers to track not only how their sites are progressing but also the earnings based on the webmaster-defined channels. The recent improvements in the search engines gives webmasters the capability to monitor how their ads are performing using customizable reports that has the capacity to detail page impressions, clicks and click-through rates. Webmasters and publishers can now track specific ad formats, colors and pages within a website. Trends are also easily spotted.

With the real-time reporting at hand, the effectiveness of the changes made will be assessed quickly. There would be time to sort out the contents that people are making the most clicks on. The ever-changing demands would be met while generating cash for the webmasters and publishers. The more flexible tools are also allowing webmasters to group web pages by URL, domain, ad type or category, which will provide them some accurate insight on which pages, ads and domains are performing best.

The last and final reason is that the advertisers have realized the benefits associated having their ads served on targeted websites. Thus increasing the possibility that a prospective web surfer will have an interest in their product and services. All because of the content and its constant maintenance. As opposed to those who are no using AdSense in their sites, they are given the option of having other people do their content for them, giving them the benefit of having successful and money-generating web sites.

AdSense is all about targeted content, the more targeted Your content is, the more target the search engines’ ads will be. There are some web masters and publishers who are focused more on their site contents and how best to maintain them rather than the cash that the ads will generate for them. This is the part where the effectiveness is working its best.

There was a time when people were not yet aware of the money to be achieved from advertisements. The cash generated only came into existence when the webmasters and publishers realized how they can make AdSense be that generator. In those days, the content were the most important factors that is taken quite seriously. It still is. With the allure of money, of course.

Once You've chosen Your niche, there is nothing You can do to increase the amount You are paid per click. This is partly because You cannot choose how much You are paid anyway and partly because the amount You are paid is dependant on the advertisers bid. - If there are lots of advertisers, the market has highly priced bids etc etc, then You'll get paid a fair amount. However, if the market is small and their are few advertisers in it, You should be expecting to get paid a lot less.

It is better to aim at the quantity of visitors for Your site as it will be just the same if You have 200 people bringing in 5 dollars as it will be 1 click bringing in the same 5 dollars, and, although the send option might be great, it does not always work that way. In fact, it is hard to rank for high-paying keywords from organic traffic, because they already have huge competition behind them.

It is know for paying out to go up (and I think also propagated by Google) that if Your quality of Your web sites content is good then the paYout will also be higher and so is the traffic. It's a good idea to keep this in mind, because Google is getting smarter and eventually only the quality and uniqueness will be important. It's already that way now.

In order for Your to get the high paYouts, You will have to target the market, in which advertisers are always paying higher dollars, such as insurance, loans, health etc. You will find those if You little research on the web for “high paying keywords” or something along those lines. Then, once You have selected Your niche, You will have to make sure the keyword density with in Your pages is up to the level at which You will get the ads You want to be displayed to display where You want them to display. Keeping those factors in mind, it takes more care creating pages for higher paYouts. This can also be tricky if You have non-article material on Your pages, such as various promotions and advertisements – those can consume the bots with regards to what exactly Your pages are about, hence will display wrong types of ads (not the ones You want).

Recap:

You can choose a niche that has high PPC costs for the advertisers, and that will enable You to get paid more.

Although You cannot do much other than that.

It will be a tougher job to get those high-paying world, both: to optimise for on page and to rank for.

I will aim to talk about other advertising networks in other than Google in the next article.

You have heard about his or may not have heard. The logic behind this technique is simple. This is how it works: You pay low for Your traffic from PPC and get paid higher than what You paid, which will, hopefully, make You a nice little profit. Say, You pay .05 for each click and You are paid a dollar from each of Your ads in Adsense, and You have a CTR of 20% on the Adsense side. Thats every 5th person clicks. To get 5 people You pay .25 – which leaves You with .75 in profit.

This technique used to be very effective and some people have made millions on it! Now a days it is a lot harder to get it to work and seems to be not worth the effort. Here are some of the issues You face today with this tactic:

Google doesn't like it, and, if You are not careful, You Can get banned from Your account. Very unpleasant if You do get banned, because it can be Very difficult to get back into the game (some never manage to recover – i.e. G. doesn't let them back, and they cannot work around it).

Adwords can give You low quality score, hence You'll get slapped.

People are more aware of what You are trying to do and are less reluctant to click on Your ads.

It is hard to get high click paYouts because of the quality measurement etc. from the Googles side – they get smarter by the day.

Can be hard to find the right niche now a days, that will get You traffic for low price and have a high payout because of all the new competition.

So, it is hard, yes, but it's not impossible. If Your play it right and comply with Googles regulations, You can make this work. If You look on my main page, there should be a link at the top of the page on the right nav. panel that says Adsense-Arbitrage (or something like that). Well, this guy, his name is Mike, I believe, has managed to find a good niche and is making 300$+ with it. This is his recent achievement and he made something like 4 000$ in less than a month and wrote an e-book on it. He describes step-by-step exactly what he does, how he searches for niches etc. I have not bought the book, but I read a lot about it and read his posts on the forum – where he recorded his progress. It is an interesting topic and can be a quick way to make a few extra bucks. It works fro now and if there will ever me time when You are going to be making money with this its going to be now, before it's too late.

The secret behind success with is, just as with absolutely everything on line, is to test and try. It may be a ling journey or it might work in few days, but You need to try and test until it works. If You spend 10 days on it and look through 100 different niches, well, then perhaps it's not Your “thing” and You need to try something else. However, if You just test out 10 niches and make a loss, there is absolutely no excuse to give up. I know this from personal experience. Just remember, if someone is having success and You are not, it's not because it does not work or they are lying – those generally are just excuses You make up for Yourself. So, try test and don't be afraid to loose money. It almost always is that way – You loose money before You make money. So, just do it and good luck.

A recap:

Adsense arbitrage is when You pay less for click and get paid more from ads, hence make Your profit.

It is hard to get it to work, but it does work. A lot of testing involved that can pay off big time.

There are two types of duplicate content: inter-site and external. When Your site goes into supplemental index, it's looses it's ranking instantly as it means Google doesn't consider it as important content this will be much less likely to display it in the search results. What this means for Your Adsense earning is bye-bye traffic, hence no earnings on the previous level. If You have traffic coming form other sources, e.g. Articles, that's great, but the chances are that a lot of Your traffic Will be from Google. If You do experience this type of activity, don't panic, But Take Action right away. Later on I will talk about what You can do.

Inter-site duplicate content is when Google fins that Your pages on the same domain are so similar to each other that they get done by the duplicate content filter. This happens when You have a lot of navigation everywhere and little content. It is likely to happen e-commerce sites more, as there content is often just a description and graphics and buttons all over the place (carts, purchase etc). To Adsense sites this happens rarely and the chances of it happening are very slim. To check for duplicate content on Your site, go to Google and type site:Yoururl.com, replacing Yoururl with em.. Your url. It will give You a list of pages it has indexed and You will see the pages that are in the S.I.

External duplicate content is content that is the same on different domains. It can be caused by a press release or an article that has being stolen from You and re-distributed by someone else. This is more likely for You to happen and also can be dealt with, although, if You have a lot of pages, can be cumbersome. This type if duplicate content takes longer for the search engines to find because they have so many data centres and they need to update them all and trade information with one another.

In order to eliminate duplicate content or to avoid it, here is what You can do:

For inter-site duplicate content, You can take all the navigation out and look at how much content You have left. If it's less than 30%, increase it. Some of the navigation can also be made into graphics, so that search engines would not consider it as duplicate. This can be done with non-keyword content, such as shopping cart, print this page etc. If You look close enough, You are bound to find few of those words You can make into graphics.

For external duplicate content, You need to first find out where it is. For this purpose it is easy to use copyscape. What You need to do is copy the usl of the page which You have in the supplemental index and enter it on their site. It will give You all the pages on the internet that it found having the same content. You can then go to their web site, do a whose search, and contact them. Since Your site have the copyright word at the bottom, You have full rights to that content, hence You can make them delete it. If You purchase the copyscape logo, I believe they can do it for Your. That way You will protect Your site and the next time an update is done You will hopefully be removed from the S.I.

If You leave Your pages in S.I., You will soon find Yourself extinct from Google and receive no traffic from it. This happens a lot to the “black-hatters”, hence they have a name for it, which is “black death”, I believe. This is when Your site slowly looses all pages out of the index and cache and received no traffic at all. I don't recommend waiting until Your site reaches that state.

So, lets recap:

Supplementary index means You have duplicate content.

You need to act if You see Your pages in the S.I.

2 types of duplicate content: inter-site and external.

Duplicate content can be fought, but if You leave it, You risk slowly coming into “black death”.

All those sites that are extremely successful with Adsense, they all get lot's of traffic from the Search Engines. There are millions of courses on this, but I will just talk about it anyway. First of all, if You want a lot of traffic, You've got to be no less than on the first page, and, preferably, № 1. No one ever looks on the other pages. And to get to the first page can be easy or can be v/ hard for some. This depends on the saturation of the market and their linking strategy and what they do in the optimisation world.

The key here is on page optimisation, together with, of course, fresh daily content. You also need to grow links pointing at Your site, because that will boost Your PR. Some are not on the first page with PR 8 while some manage to get there with very little to no page rank at all. It largely depends on what keywords You are trying to optimise for and how many other web sites You have optimising for the same keyword. A good site to use would be marketleap.com, where You can analyse the links of Your competitors and then reverse-engineer to get those links Yourself.

A good way also would be to do a search in yahoo: “link:www.Yoururl.com” - and that will also give You the links for Your url or any other usl You wish. Yahoo is good for this because it gives You sites in terms of their importance, as it thinks, so no 1 link partner would be the most relevant and with the highest PR, which gives You a good idea of who to target.

There is no secret about being number one, and that is really the game- You search for link partners and achieve more link with higher PR than Your competitors and You will rank higher than them. An excellent way to get high PR links that black hatters have being exploiting as well us “white” web masters is to buy links. This can be extremely effective if You've got the cash, but You need to be careful because Google is smarter now a days and if You suddenly have a new site that has almost no link but 10 PR6 and PR7 links suddenly start pointing at it all at ones, this would be suspiciously unnatural and You may get black-listed, which would mean You would not rank for them. Another draw back of buying is that You will loose those links when You stop paying for them and there goes Your PR and position.

An extremely powerful linking strategy is to get links from authority sites – e.g. Government and charity web sites and a bunch of other non-profit organisations, that Google loves. It can be tricky to get those types of links as those organisations have no incentive to link to You, but the rewards are great! This can make a real difference in a competitive industry. So, how do You approach those types of sites? Well, if it's a charity for example, You can offer a donation. I am sure You will find ways to persuade them, just do what ever it takes, because its so important. Be persistent but at the same time urbane and well-spoken.

Other search engines like msn, yahoo, ask etc. are considered to be less smart (for now) and all this “stuff” that does not work with Google will work with those second-teer engines. So, Your affords won't be worked for nothing. They are very much more tolerable to duplicate content as well, since they don't have such powerful server – Google have thousands if not 10s or 100s of thousands of servers, and creating new ones every day.

So, let's recap:

Main search engine which You should be optimising for is Google, and You will hit all the others on the way.

Everyone knows that any successful site needs traffic. And the more traffic You have, the more successful the site is, no meter what You do in the site to make it monetised. In fact, there are two factors in place, and they are: traffic and conversion. Conversion means when You visitor makes You money – so be it a sale or, in our case, an AdSense click. This is crucial terminology to think about when making a site. So, how much traffic do we, AdSense people, need to make a site successful? Well, here are my own rough estimations: to make 5 dollars, You need 300 – 300 people to open Your page and see the ads. Remember that those web sites that have real value to their visitors (and those are the sites that have a returning traffic) have visitors that are generally not interested in AdSense but in the content instead and the site itself, hence Your likely CTR will 1 – 4 clicks per 100.

And since it's good practice to aim for those types of sites as web masters that is what we should be looking at as a CTR. So, we need a lot of visitors. Marcus from PlentyOfFish.com, who says that he makes half a million$/month (I just love his example) is saying that he has millions of daily page views. He also says that his payout per click is v. low (.02, .03?), but because of all the traffic he gets, he is successful. So, traffic is really the key. Traffic harder to get than to manipulate conversion. If You have traffic, You can play around with conversion, while if Your site converts every 2nd visitor and You have no visitors – that can be trickier to work around.

One of the best and easiest was to get traffic, apart from using PPC like Adwords (unless You are doing Arbitrage, see other post and e-book, top right of the page there's a link, should still be there), is to write articles. The thing is articles are so easy to write and there are no limit as to how many You can write. They bring You great PR as well, though, now a days, Google is too smart, hence You need to be smart as well, in order not to be considered a spammer (spinning articles is one way). So, if You do submit articles to the top 10 article directories like ezinearticles and isnare, You will can get a lot of traffic. Try writing catchy headlines and offer good, useful content, and You are easily looking at 600 views for Your article in each directory in a year. And guess what? Articles will stay there forever (unless something unpredictable happens like sites gets shut down), so writing articles is very much a long-term strategy, for which You will benefit over and over again!

They are making it difficult to place Your link, and that's annoying sometimes, and don't allow html, hence You cannot use Your keywords, but some allow a link in the body and each directory differs in rules. You should separate directories in to two types: ones that bring You the traffic and those that are only good for PR. Now a days there are hundreds of second, third, fourth-tier directories, that are totally useless to You in terms of traffic and even PR. When there used to be 10 four years ago, bow there are hundreds, and perhaps soon will be thousands (already close). Those don't have a gate keeper or a reviewer and generally allow any old junk. There is duplicate content everywhere and, in fact, a lot of the really crap ones just scrape the content from one another.

Can a bad directory hurt You websites PR? Well, some argue that it can, but I would say NO! And I am quite sure of this. Let me explain my though process: say You have released a Press Release and it gets distributes to lots of places without Your control. It gets picks up everywhere by everyone and people put it on their sites, some of which can be bad some good. But isn't that the point of a press release (apart from attracting media)? That is the benefit of it, so Google or any other search engine has absolutely no right to give You bad PR just for this alone. If they did, then imagine how easy it would be for nay one of Your competitors to put You out of business!

Only time when it will actually heart is if You have ALL Your links from those places. In most other cased, duplicate content will just go into the supplementary index anyway, which means You will have no benefit from that link anyway. And if the site has scraped content, it is likely to be in the supplementary index, and if it did get an article that is unique, it will likely go into the supplementary as well, for the reason that all those inks form all the other articles are in there, so SE will consider new page very unimportant as well.

Other ways include writing a press release and participating on form discussions. Those can be just as effective, but require more work, and thehya re not for everyone. A press release is mainly great if You have some breaking news. Otherwise it's just SPAM. And it costs as well. SE's seem to give You very little PR for them now a days (I am talking about Google here, as others that are les smart rank You better, though that's likely to change as well in the very near future). Forums is a great way to present Yourself as an authority and let people know that You have a site. This method requires a lot of time and work though, as You need to find relevant forums, make posts regularly and just generally read a lot of them to be able to offer any help. This post has being quite long already, so in my next post I will talk about organic traffic (SE's) and what can be done to optimise Your web site for it. What makes Your blogs/sites rank? Read in the next port.

There used to be a time when one could put a hundred thousand pages up and that were scraped from other sites automatically and get a millions dollar checks monthly. Those times are long gone now. Google is getting smarter by the minute, changing their algorithm, and making so many adjustments that a lot of marketers just give up on trying to keep and simply just do what they think still works. This is good from one stand point – as the Internet becomes a better place for everyone but spammers, but some changes Google makes make it more difficult for the marketers also.

Not everyone is a spammer, but is treated the same by Google. The real key that seems to only work now (has always being important but never this vital) is to have a regular freash content added to Your site. And by regular I mean at least 2 times a day. And the fact that it is fresh means it cannot be done by any software, and, in fact, spinning articles will most likely die out soon, as Google raises their bar for the % of uniqueness that has to be within them to count them as unique.

There are a lot of websites and templates that are being sold by marketing “geniuses” that promise big bucks and lot's of traffic from them. They try to add syndication content from rss feeds etc. and promise that it works. Well, it does not! Not any more. Now a days it seems only viable to hire ghost writers or permanent staff who will add the content manually, full stop. And it does not matter how many pages You are adding every day – if they are not unique, You are not going to get much traffic for them. There are so many article directories now that just scrape content from each other, and even more rss fed sites that only pollute the Internet, that it is impossible for Google to rank all those even if it wanted to, and there is no point. They are spammy and they should be treated as SPAM – i.e. Ignored!

Recap:

Those times are long gone now.

The future is bright with Google Adsense!

There are so many markets – how to choose the right one, that will definitely bring in the money from Google Adsense? Well, there are no markets that will definitely will or won't work, especially if You take into account that those markets and prices advertisers pay always fluctuate and change – some go up from .10 to 5$ and some go down and vice-versa forever. What You can do however, is You can predict which market would be best for us to go into that will insure a profitable outcome.

It's simple, really. It all comes down to profitability. The more profitable a market is, the more competitive it is. The more searches it has, the more likely is is to have a lot of web masters trying to rank for it. And it would be nice to get some organic traffic, right? You need a lot of traffic to make a lot of money, and this traffic comes from the search engines. No matter if its paid traffic or free organic traffic, most comes from the engines. Why? Because that's where most users who are looking for something hang around! And the higher Your site ranks in the engines, the more hits Your web site will get! It's a simple concept and yet so many people don't get it!

So, what You as a web master need to do to get Your site to rank? Content and lots of optimisation, off page and on page. Hundreds of thousands of books on that. But, as I said before, the more competitive the market, the harder it would be to rank for it. So, You need to find long tail tier “low hanging fruit” type of keywords, for which You can optimise and rank easier. The longer the keyword, the easier it is to optimise for it. Of course also the longer is is the less traffic it gets, so in order to get lots of traffic, there needs to be lot's and lot's of pages, that are optimised for the longer phrases.

That is a huge long-term benefit as well! If You are raking for a general and competitive phrase such as “apples”, You might be number 1 for now, but who knows what will happen tomorrow? It's much harder to stay on top when You have 100 000 other sites daily trying to compete for that exact phrase! But if You have a phrase that says “green apples from Ohio”, there is a great chance that You will be number one for that phrase for years to come without doing little to none optimisation! And while 100 000 people compete for the phrase “apples” those those 10 000 searches, You get Your 10 000 searches from 100 keywords that are Your with little to none effort!

So, here's a recap:

Stay away from competitive phrases.

Create lot's of Google Adsense pages that have great content and offer value for long-tier phrases.

Stay sharp and on track with Your on-page optimisation.

Never stop adding content.

If You just follow those easy guidelines, You will start making a v. comfortable living on-line and the search engines will love You.

Read about how smart is Google, or what works and what doesn't, in my next article.
